The Twatasha foundation

Undertakes several ways to collect money. We work together with companies, private initiatives and allowance organisations.

Together with our sponsors we organise Fancy Fairs, for example Christmas markets. We sell different products made by the local people: oven gloves, aprons, bags, Christmas decorations.

The Winterfair was held at the Lemmer location of the ZZC on the 7th of January 2010. (Resceduled due to impassable roads on December 17)
Enthusiastically the students of the Zuyderzee College location Lemmer collected money for the Twatasha foundation to finance books and other materials for students at the Twatasha Community School at Kasondi and the Twatasha Community School in Lusaka / Zambia. The students sold goods such as pea soup, cakes and biscuits, hamburgers and homemade stuff. In addition there were many eye cathing activities including can throwing, jeans hanging and nail hammering. We thank the students and the team of the College Zuyderzee Lemmer for their extra efforts and to resist the harsh winterconditions and because of their great enthusiasm the Winter Market was an enormous success
